oh my

It seems I have abandoned my blag. Since I have no actual readership, this is alright, at least temporarily. But I still kind of want to foist my obnoxious sense of humor and crappy taste in music, food, and film upon the world. Ergo, I have officially resurrected this review blog. For the holiday season and New Year's I will come bearing the following gifts:

- A piece on 'Til Tuesday and Aimee Mann

- A review of Umbrella by The Innocence Mission (I might not be able to be snarky about that one)

- An essay, cross-posted from another social networking site on which I have a far more visible presence, on early/influential musical experiences of the album variety (content + artwork)

- A pony. Actually, no. Fuck that. I hate ponies.

I LIED.

I'm sorry, faithful reader(s). You see, what happened was... I got overwhelmed in school... And then I got overwhelmed again. It's currently one in the morning where I live, and I'm typing this from a computer lab at the university. Exams are in two and a half weeks. After they are done, it's time to revive this blog. I've listened to a lot of new music since then, seen some movies, and ate (and pooped) a lot of vegetarian meals, since my full-time conversion in January. THEREFORE... I owe you one. Okay, several. Reviews, not poops. So stay tuned.
